Kua Bay North Swell

Kua Bay Waves 3-14-09

A large north swell hit the island on March 14th 2009. Strong southwest winds blew side shore off shore creating great conditions. The swell peaked the first few hours and then slowly died out. Constant thick barrels rolled in during that time. Seems like I’ll never find time to load my surf shots from previous years swells at various Big Island locations. But, then again who knows.
