Wow, I went the entire year of 2019 without a single post.
That’s what happens when the volcano stops.
It’s not like I haven’t been busy and I have numerous adventures planned now that the west side of the island is vog free. The Kona side has spectacular weather and skies.
The following blog posts in the coming weeks will feature several new galleries and Fine Art Images along with an interesting new metal printing option. Something you surfers I’ve captured images of might like.
This particular post is to inform all of my fellow surfers about me finally getting all of my surfing videos loaded and posted on my YouTube channel.
Get in your comfortable clothes and chairs as there are 33 of them!
4 hrs 48 minutes 38 seconds in total.
Slow-motion clips are slow. They’re shot in slow-mo so I have to use manual focus. I focus on the takeoff and eventually, the surfer fades out of focus.
Most have no audio as the recorded audio is always compromised by other sounds nearby and adding music would have taken me forever to do. Just listen to your favorite tunes and enjoy. The cool thing with videos is you can drag the slider to advance to your personal clips without having to watch the other 4 hrs 48 minutes and 36 seconds.
If I sent you surfing photos from any particular dates then there’s a good chance you’re in the video from the same date. If you see yourself in one of the videos and you’ve never gotten surf photos from me I probably have some. Just let me know what video and what time and I’ll pass them along if I have any.
Feel free to share this blog post all across the internet or individual links.
The videos are unlisted on my YT channel so the only way to view them is by having the direct link. I didn’t want to flood my channel with so many surfing videos as my fan base prefers lava.
For those of you wanting more lava videos, I do have a few old ones I can load soon. After that, there’s nothing until the volcano wakes up again. I do have subjects I’m covering. Lots to work out before I get them public.
We had a decent winter and a great summer of surf that lasted well into December of 2019.
Be sure to watch them all at the 4k setting.
Watch this intro video to get you hyped up.
No warnings as there’s no flowing lava anywhere on the island. The Kona side has the clearest and most beautiful skies anyone can remember seeing. Be sure you have good sunglasses and reef safe non-aerosol fragrance-free sunscreen. The best I have ever used.
Fine art prints of my work are available at Pacific Fine Art in Kailua Kona, 75-5744 Ali’i Drive Hawaii at the Kona Inn Shopping Village. 808-329-5009. Tell them you’d like the option to order larger sizes.
Also on my website.
